The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) for Narayanganj, Rajbari, and Khagrachhari districts. 

A notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday (January 9).

ABM Iftekharul Islam Khandaker, a deputy secretary of the Finance Division, has been appointed as the DC of Khagrachhari. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Mia, currently the DC of Rajbari, has been transferred to Narayanganj.

Sultana Akter, a deputy secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed as the new DC of Rajbari.
