Tracy Ann Jacobson, a senior member of the United States Foreign Service, will assume the role of Chargé d’Affaires (CDA), ad interim, at the US Embassy in Dhaka from January 11.

Ambassador Jacobson has previously served as the US Ambassador to Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Kosovo. 

Recently, she worked as a senior advisor at the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs and held the position of Chargé d’Affaires, ad interim, at the US Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Following her assumption of the role in Dhaka, Megan Boldin will return to her previous position as the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Bangladesh.

The US Embassy in Dhaka warmly welcomed Tracy Ann Jacobson to her new role.
