FENI: The first Namaz-e-Janaza of slain Fulgazi upazila Chairman Ekramul Huq Ekram, also upazila Awami League president, was held in the district town on Wednesday morning.

Feni Alia Madrassa principal Moulana Mahamudul Hasan led the prayer at Miazan Maydan at 9:00am.

The second janaza was scheduled to be held at the playground of Fulgazi Pilot High School at 10:00am.

Later, Ekramul will be laid to rest at the family graveyard at his paternal home in Doulatpur of the upazila around 11:30am.

Earlier on Tuesday, in a filmy style, miscreants shot Ekramul and burnt alive in his own car in broad daylight in Academy area of the district town.
