COMILLA: Two people were killed and three more injured in a road accident in Mirpur area under Brahmanpara Upazila of the district on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Mostafa kamal Prokash, 26, son of Abdul Malek Master and Sohag Mia, 22, son of Shishu Mia. 

Local sources said that a Comilla-bound auto rickshaw collided with a Sylhet-bound truck in the area around 5:30pm, leaving the two dead on the spot and three others injured.

Mirpur Highway police Outpost Sub-Inspector Abu Jaher confirmed the matter to banglanews.
