ASHULIA (DHAKA): Miscreants hacked an owner of a cap company in Ashulia area of the district on Saturday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as M Azam, 30, owner of Zubayer Cap Company.

Witnesses said one of the owners of Zubayer Cap Company, in Pollibiddut area of Ashulia, Golam Mustafa entered the factory with armed goons around 3:00pm and locked in an altercation over a longstanding dispute.

At one stage, the goons hacked Azam to death and managed to flee the scene.

On information, police rushed in and recovered the body.

Assistant Superintendent of Police of Ashulia Circle Rusel Sheikh confirmed the matter to banglanews.
