A Dhaka court has set January 30 for delivering its verdict in a corruption case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against former Awami League lawmaker of Khulna-2 Mizanur Rahman.
The decision came after both the prosecution and defense concluded their arguments today.
Mizanur, who had been out on bail, appeared before Judge Md Abu Taher of Dhaka Special Judge Court-3 for the hearing.
The court canceled his bail and sent him to jail following the conclusion of the arguments.
