The Home Ministry has issued a notice urging foreign nationals residing illegally in Bangladesh to obtain the necessary legal documents by January 31. 

Signed by Md Khoda Box Chowdhury, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser for Home Affairs, the notice warned that legal action will be taken against those who fail to comply with the deadline. 

It highlighted the presence of many foreigners living in the country without valid documentation and stressed that violations would be addressed under the Foreigners Act-1946.
