BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that there is no conflict between reforms and elections, and both can progress simultaneously.

He made the remarks on Sunday (January 19) after paying tribute at the grave of late President Ziaur Rahman in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, marking his 89th birth anniversary.

Mirza Fakhrul at this time urged the Chief Advisor to promptly consult political parties regarding the reports submitted by reform commissions to finalize decisions, stressing the importance of consensus. "Nothing is possible without unity," he said.
