GAZIPUR: A schoolboy was found dead at the roof of a six-storey building in Konabari area of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Nadim Mia, 16, a student of class-IX of Bimail Residential School and College, son of Faridul Islam.

Locals said the victim came out from home on Monday night and from then remained missing. 

Later, locals rescued critically injured Nadim around from the building and sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital where he died around 1:00pm. 

Konabari Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Rabiul Islam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
