A Dhaka court today directed the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to interrogate Laila Kaniz, the former upazila chairman and wife of ex-National Board of Revenue (NBR) member Matiur Rahman, for one day.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order after holding hearing on a plea to take Laila on a seven-day remand.

According to the case, Kaniz allegedly amassed illegal wealth of 13 crore taka and concealed assets worth Tk 1.53 crore.
