DHAKA: Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Heather Cruden Monday met Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in speaker’s office at the National Parliament.

They exchanged views on issues between two countries and emphasized boosting mutual understanding by enhancing development initiatives.

Speaker spoke about ongoing activities of the National Parliament and thanked the Canadian envoy for the efforts in heightening mutual relations between the countries.

Heather Cruden praised Bangladesh for cooperating in their diplomatic duties and also wished to continue bilateral relations and to enhance development cooperation.
