Responding to West Indies score of 450/9 declared Bangladesh reached 269/9 at stumps of day three just managing to avoid following on. With two days left of the test, another defeat looms large on the fate of Team Tigers. 

Several Bangladeshi batsmen including Jaker Ali (53), Litton Das ( 40) and Mominul Haque (50) getting start none could get going for reaching anywhere near the West Indian score. However, some rearguard actions by Taijul Islam and Taskin ensured that Bangladesh will not have the ignominy of following on.

On conclusion of first days play West Indies finished at 250/5. We wrote Bangladesh for staying in the contest should restrict West Indies below 300. Whenever any team scores 350 and above whatever be the quality of the opposition bowling or the state of the wicket Bangladesh batting implodes, and Bangladesh loses control. It was no different at North Sound. West Indies declared scoring 450/9. Bangladesh openers fell early. Mominul (50), Litton Das (40) and Jaker Ali (53) got start. If any two of them could convert their innings to 80.90 or 100 or any two partnerships could grow big Bangladesh could reach very close to West Indies score. 

Lack of experience of playing quality longer version cricket got exposed once again as 5-6 players got out after making start at crucial time. Steady West Indies bowling kept relentless pressure on Bangladesh. Bangladesh finishing the day at 269/9 just managed to escape following on. There was no venom at the wicket. Bangladesh batsmen can only blame their lack of temperament. 

We are sure whatever target West Indies set will remain well beyond the grasp of Bangladesh. Another huge defeat is looming for Bangladesh. Wonder how Bangladesh can start debouncing.
