The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has predicted dry weather across the country for the next 24 hours, starting this morning.
"Weather may remain dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky over the country," said the forecast issued at 9 am today.
The ridge of the sub-continental high extends to West Bengal and adjoining western Bangladesh, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, stretching its trough to the North Bay.
Light to moderate fog may form in some areas late at night and persist until morning.
Night temperatures may drop slightly, while daytime temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.
On Sunday, Teknaf recorded the highest temperature at 30.8°C, while the lowest temperature of 9.6°C was recorded in Chuadanga this morning.
In Dhaka, the sun will set at 5:36 pm today and rise at 6:43 am tomorrow.
