CHITTAGONG: Two terrors were beaten to death in a poetic justice after they along with their cohorts killed a young man at Halishahar in the port city early Tuesday.

Police said the “terrorists” stabbed Nurunnabai to death over previous enmity at Badir Colony in Badsha Hazi Brickfield road area.

Witnessing the cruelty, angry local people caught two of the band and beat them black and blue. Both died on the spot in the lynch-mob action. One of them was identified as Anwar.

Abdul Haque, brother of Nurunnabi, filed a case accusing five persons of killing Nabi. The accused persons are Alamgir, Anwar, Iqbal, Sohel and Liton.

The killing took place following a brawl over sharing gambling money.
