Light to moderate fog may form across the country from late night to morning, according to a release from the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
The forecast, effective from 9 AM today, also states that a mild cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Pabna, Naogaon, Sirajganj, Dinajpur, Panchagarh, and Moulvibazar districts, which may persist.
The weather is expected to remain dry with a temporarily partly cloudy sky. Night temperatures may drop slightly, while daytime temperatures are likely to remain unchanged.
The ridge of the sub-continental high extends up to Bihar and adjoining areas, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, stretching its trough to the North Bay.
Yesterday, the lowest temperature of 8.6°C was recorded in Badalgachhi, Rajshahi Division, while today's highest temperature of 31.0°C was recorded in Teknaf, Chattogram Division.
In the capital, the sun will set at 5:40 pm today and rise at 6:41 am tomorrow.
