The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted dry weather with a temporary partly cloudy sky across the country. Moderate to thick fog is expected in northern areas, while light to moderate fog will occur elsewhere during the night and early morning hours.
The BMD also predicts a slight rise in night temperatures by 1-2°C, with a minor increase in daytime temperatures. However, over the next five days, both night and day temperatures may decrease.
The department noted that a sub-continental high-pressure ridge extends up to West Bengal, while a seasonal low lies over the South Bay, stretching its trough to the North Bay.
Yesterday's weather saw a maximum temperature of 30.5°C in Teknaf and a minimum of 10.1°C in Dinajpur.
Today's sunset in Dhaka will be at 5:37 pm, and tomorrow's sunrise will be at 6:45 am.
